About DeckCalc

DeckCalc is a growing collection of deck-planning calculators. Each one solves one specific problem — how many boards, how much it costs, how much area you're working with — instead of trying to be a single do-everything estimator.

There's no login and no required account. Calculators run entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter aren't sent anywhere to use the tools.

Every formula is documented on its calculator's page, and the shared rules for units, rounding, and waste are on the methodology page. Where a number would require a verified building code or manufacturer specification we don't have, the calculator asks you for it rather than guessing.
